We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Digital Partnership Manager.
Support the head of Smart Banking to define and execute Partnership roadmap for AMH WPB
Identify business opportunities to bring value to customers and HSBC, build business cases and commercialization plan with strategic partners to obtain senior level approval.
Drive collaboration within the AMH WPB teams, and being able to connect dots to ensure what we build with partners are solving for real business and customer problems.
Understand the business opportunities that are made possible with technology, identify, evaluate and select the right partners, as well as managing the contractual onboarding and ongoing management of new partners.
Lead digital partnership engagement and partner relationship management for AMH WPB, including but not limited to partnership events, proof of concepts, creations, investment and other collaboration activities
Define assessment and selection framework for external partnership proposals
Work closely with the API product teams which are both within Smart Banking team and at global level to provide new API use cases and identify suitable partners to make appropriate use of existing API products and platforms within developer portal and sandbox to nurture HSBC Banking ecosystem in Hong Kong.
Refine customer experience for new API capabilities in partnership internally within Digital, Products and Propositions, Multichannel, and other key stakeholders and externally with strategic partners and merchants to expand HSBC's API network.
In depth knowledge and experience of defining digital ecosystems or partnerships either within financial services industry or other industry, preferably with a large digital component, or start up style companies. Candidates will be expected to have a track record of successfully delivering tangible improvements through user led design, prototyping, working in Agile environment
Excellent knowledge of Fintech landscape and trends to quickly identify potential partnership or acquisition partners
Experience in business development in Hong Kong market highly preferred, proficient in English and Cantonese business communications.
Comfort with technology including ability to translate business and customer need to product requirements, customer journey mapping, data modelling, API mapping, technical assessments, organisational buy in, launch, and ongoing management.
Strong communication skills for navigating through business and product requirements, differences of opinion on approach.
Strong thought leadership and creativity to proactively propose new business opportunities and resolve issues
Proven ability to manage third party partners both in partnership development when required, and ongoing partner management.
Ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the organisation. Excellent at navigating differences of opinions. Experience in developing and executing customer facing and staff facing communication
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Energetic, positive attitude and team player.
