| Full time Mixed Associate Veterinarian position in Menomonie, WI at Country Doctors Veterinary Service. Country Doctors Veterinary Service is currently 50% SA & 50% Dairy/Equine. We are a 3.5 doctor mixed animal practice. We have a great support team including 3 technicians, 3 receptionist and practice manager. Our companion animal sector is growing dramatically requiring a general interest in SA medicine and surgery is essential. An interest in supporting the Dairy & Equine sectors of the practice is required. Three senior members of our veterinary staff have specific interest in either Companion Animal, Dairy & Equine areas and are willing to mentor to your interests. A willingness to develop and grow team leadership and goal-oriented skills in conjunction with veterinary peers, practice manager and great support staff is preferred. Our objective is to obtain a progressive, enthusiastic veterinarian, who is passionate about general medicine and surgery across species. The prospective applicant must enjoy people and a willingness to pursue their own areas of professional interests. Vehicle & equipment is provided for the ambulatory portion of the position. Our 5,400sq ft. clinic was built in 1995 and a 2,400sq ft. equine addition was completed in 2005. Power equine dental floats, 30 watt CO2 laser, digital dental, digital portable x-ray, 3 ultrasounds and patient monitoring equipment. CornerStone software Idexx Vet Lab. We firmly support CE for medical, surgical and business issues. We provide medical insurance with 50% cost share, dues for the WVMA and the AVMA, AABP or AAEP and other benefits. 2 weeks vacation & 6 personal days annually. Practice vehicle is provided. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications for the position. We are located 1 hour East of St Paul, MN on the I-94 business corridor.
