Responsible to collaborate and support business area in selecting suppliers, negotiating effective terms and conditions and then supporting the lifecycle of the contract. Primary duties will include negotiating contract terms and conditions for agreements, addendums, amendments and statements of work in collaboration with the business, legal, IT and other key stakeholders. Acts as a mentor to other team members, providing leadership, training and clear work direction.
Bachelor's degree and 3 years' contracting experience OR 7 years' contracting experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Ability to effectively prioritize work load
Project management skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel, e-mail and scheduling applications
Problem solving skills
Multi-facility healthcare system background preferred
CRMP (Association for Hospital Materials Management) and/or CPSM (Institute of Supply Management) Certification preferred
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software INFOR or Lawson preferred
Experience in a lead capacity preferred
