This Private Equity firm are going through an exciting phase of growth and are looking to add to their team with a Head of Marketing and Communications. This is a newly created role and will work closely the Investor Relations Director, a Senior Partner and other team members to help the firm realise its ambitions in the short and long term.
Having worked for a Private Equity firm, you will have experience of working closely with the Investment Team on materials relevant to fundraising, investments and performance. The company have a strong track record across their existing funds, with a focus on growth investments into FinTech.
Be the main point of contact for Marketing and Communications efforts across the organization
Hold responsibility for the organization's website, social media, and broader online presence
Coordinate the preparation and distribution of press releases, working closely with the Investment and Compliance teams
Coordinate the publication of other firm materials, including whitepapers and thought leadership pieces
Develop and maintain the company's library of external presentation content, liaising with the Compliance team to ensure materials are fit for use
Review any presentations created for external consumption by the Investment Team to ensure the appropriate look and content
Organize media interviews and foster strong relationships with relevant papers, journals, industry associations, and media organizations
Identify and manage PR, Marketing, Digital, and other agencies for the company to collaborate with
Forge strong relationships with conference organizers, ensuring the company has access to differentiated speaking or sponsorship opportunities
Work closely with other team members, especially on projects involving Investor Relations or other relevant stakeholders (e.g. Management, Investment team, Compliance/ Legal team)
6+ years marketing experience with time spent in Marketing for a Private Equity firm, as opposed to a portfolio company.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Project management experience, including managing priorities and adhering to (strict) deadlines
Strong sense of design and experience applying consistent graphic standards
Proficient in the production of high-quality materials using Microsoft Office tools (primarily Powerpoint and Word)
