We Offer Asia Pacific Private Banking Business Development is looking for an Assistant Vice-President/Vice-President based in Singapore to join the Business Development team to support the APAC leadership in developing and driving APAC PB, particularly PB South Asia, business strategy as well as manage and implement strategic-initiatives. A high level of collaboration and engagement with business partners such as middle to senior management, market group heads, front-officers, product specialists and support functions in the region is expected. Develop and support implementation of APAC PB strategy by scoping, managing and delivering on initiatives covering market specific organic growth strategy, client strategy, efficiency topics as well as assessment of new business and inorganic opportunities together with key partners in the organization.
Be the key partner to Head of Private Banking South Asia in driving and implementing strategic-initiatives for South Asia markets.
Support centrally run global and regional initiatives that impact the APAC PB business
Perform run-the-bank activities such as maintaining up-to-date view of industry development and market intelligence and responding to APAC PB management ad-hoc requests and queries about industry development
Leading school education, MBA is a plus 5+ years of relevant business experience with top tier strategy consulting firm, ideally combined with a position in Private Banking (position in strategy/business development is an advantage) Private Banking knowledge is required, particularly of South Asia private banking markets Strong analytical skill, ability to conceptualize and story-lining capabilities; experience in business case development is required Demonstrated ability in handling strategic-initiatives in a structured and results driven approach Strong project management capability including end-to-end change management roll out Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in building effective collaboration with cross-functional partners across seniority levels Excellent collaborator with a 'can do' attitude Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also working collaboratively and deliver on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
