We Offer The Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO) function was created in 2020 through the combination of previously separate Risk and Compliance functions, to further enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our control environment amid stricter regulatory frameworks. The responsibilities of CRCO include Risk, ranging from Enterprise Risk management to risk and finance reporting, and regional risk teams covering the risk management for our entities, and Compliance, focused on achieving professional excellence by providing state of the art technology, strengthening surveillance and testing processes and by aligning controls to keep risk within appetite. An exciting opportunity for developing the Business and Climate Risk frameworks for the UK Investment Banking Entities as part of the Enterprise Risk Management team.
Responsibility for the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process for the UK Investment Banking Entities.
An opportunity to implement a new approach for revenue and expense risk as part of ICAAP stress testing and risk/return analysis.
A dynamic environment, ensuring new and evolving regulatory expectations on Climate Change and Sustainability related risks get embedded within the risk framework.
The chance to coordinate with various risk and finance functions to produce risk updates in a high quality standard, while meeting agreed deadlines.
Be part of the wider forward-thinking Enterprise Risk Management team collaborating on other deliverables, such as Risk Identification, Scenarios Design, Reverse Stress Testing, etc.
Take ownership of ad hoc regulatory responses and deliverables including identifying areas of process improvement and automation.

Technical knowledge of UK ICAAP requirements, PRA capital rules and various associated risk modelling methodologies in Pillar 1 and Pillar 2.
Good understanding of risk management concepts, e.g. risk identification, risk appetite framework, scenario analysis and stress testing.
Proven experience in enterprise risk management or across a range of different risk types (e.g. market/credit/operational/liquidity risk).
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to successfully deliver multiple projects under the tight deadlines.
Previous experience in project management.
Results-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving skills and familiarity with programming languages (e.g. R) is a strong plus.
Bachelors' Degree in economics/finance; FRM/CFA/PRM qualification desirable or equivalent experience.
