Provides leadership and support for faculty and staff to administer, review, and evaluate online service approaches. Performs system analysis to provide solutions. Guides the use and documentation of online services and digital learning tool best practices for system wide deployment. Consults with staff/UITS support on a variety of online service issues, including branding, fostering active and engaged learning, system change management, and maintaining existing tools. Provides consistency for the University in support, testing, integration, management and delivery of enterprise level SAAS based services. Develops workflows in conformance with university and UITS strategic and operational plans to provide design and online service assistance and direct support to faculty and programs creating and conducting courses leveraging online services. Maintain procedures, workflow, and change practice timelines for maintenance cycles, and ongoing policy changes. Facilitates the growth of online services within the eDS group and beyond by example and collaboration. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline and two years of system administration experience and/or related work experience.

Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and integrated online services (Canvas , Voicethread, Kaltura, Qualtrics, G Suite, IMS Global). Ability and interest to continue to learn computer tools in the changing and developing field of cloud technology and learning management systems. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation. Customer service experience. Strong problem-solving and team skills. Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with a wide diversity of individuals, including ability to communicate about service updates/maintenance/changes through a variety of mediums (email, phone, in person). Time management skills including ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities with short deadlines.
Experience in a higher education context with a focus in LMS management, eText, digital learning tools, cloud services, Web development, training or informational materials, working with schools, or developing guidelines. Experience with online learning environments, digital learning tools, and emerging technologies. Experience working in an enterprise cloud environment and working with a diversified team that supports multiple facets and avenues of online service administration and digital learning tools. Expert knowledge of Learning Management Administration, Web Analytics, Content Management Systems, FERPA, HIPAA, ITIL framework, LTI, scripting, API, analytics and systems management workflow management. Broad familiarity with methods, approaches, and existing and emerging technologies for supporting schools in the administrations, and delivery of learning technology in higher education.
Working Conditions / Demands
This position requires the ability to operate computers and other related technical equipment. Required to maintain and interact with computers and frequently move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without an accommodation.
