To provide administrative support to the department chairs and faculty (full-time and part-time), as well as manage the academic department offices for the Accounting & Business Law Department and the Economics & Finance Department.
Primary Responsibilities :
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support to department chairs, including calendar maintenance, meeting scheduling, RPT process, as well as other responsibilities as needed.
Responsible for maintaining and reconciling all departmental, foundation, and grant budgets within the SAP FI system.
Enter and maintain course schedule within myNKU/SAP.
Handle all departmental administrative needs, such as purchasing, equipment inventory, maintain office equipment, maintain confidential personnel files, provide assistance to students, coordination of department tours for outside visitors.
Provide support to faculty, including assistance uploading materials to Digital Measures, RPT process, communication of meeting notifications & updates on policies and procedures.
Serve as a liaison to other academic and administrative offices on campus, as well as students and the public.
Required: Bachelor's Degree in business or related field. 2 or more years of office management/administrative assistant experience, proficiency in all Microsoft office applications, myNKU/SAP, ADOBE and basic office equipment; ability to lift and work with light objects (generally <25 lbs).
The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to handle numerous tasks at one time. She/he will demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills, time management, mature judgement, work ethic, teamwork, detail orientation, creativity, ability to work independently and commitment to results.
