Advertised Job Summary:
The program coordinator is responsible for the screening program design, and implementation of its activities. The Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of program processes related to the colorectal cancer screening, patient navigation, follow-up to specialty care (surgical, oncology, radiation, etc.). The Coordinator will collaborate with the Outreach, Education, Screening Director and the Education Manager in the development and implementation of resources required to deliver and expand services for the CCPN. The Coordinator will participate in project management requests; reports preparation, grant writing and scientific paper development. They will provide direction and guidance to screening program staff concerning programmatic issues, this will require that the coordinator be available to work flexible hours in order to meet patients needs during colonic preparation process. The Coordinator will attend, participate, and present: at legislative, public and advocacy activities; fundraising activities; information for discussion and/or decision-making purposes; and will responds to requests for information. The Coordinator will be responsible for training staff/vendors in patient navigation, identification of patients based on medical review, make decisions and provide recommendations on medical eligibility of patients referred to the program. The Coordinator will manage the data registry to ensure that the program deliverables and that patients medical needs are met. Finally, the Coordinator will assess CCPN program, implement policies, procedures or rule changes, participate in CCPN planning sessions, recommend allocation of resources, and provide employee feedback which fosters growth and development. The Coordinator will complete other duties as assigned by the Outreach, Education and Screening Director and Executive Director.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree and 4 years experience, or bachelor's degree in nursing and 6 years experience or diploma from accredited school of nursing and 7 years experience. Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
