We are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager in the Division of General Medicine to manage a new large observational study of COVID-19 involving over 50,000 participants at fifteen sites enrolled in ongoing major cohort studies to investigate the pulmonary, cardiac, and neurological consequences of COVID-19 infection. This work will take place under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator. The position will involve project management of this large epidemiologic study, including of IRB protocol, study protocol, coordination of research activities involving investigators across multiple institutions, generation and review of reports, and other related duties as assigned.
Coordinate IRB submissions, data use agreements, progress reports, study protocols, and manuals of procedures
Track project milestones across over 30 sites and develop reports required by funding agencies and other partners
Coordinate research activities, including multi-site study meetings
Coordinate with data management and website team
Perform additional related duties as needed.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education, training and experience, plus four years of related experience
Master's degree in in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Management, or other related field would substitute for experience
Experience with project management with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple tasks with commitment to teamwork
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Excel
Experience conducting epidemiologic research
Experience with large cohort studies
Experience with quantitative research methodology and/or data science
Interest and/or experience in epidemiology, public health, and medicine
Participation in the medical surveillance program
Contact with patients and/or human research subjects
Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
