The Artificial Intelligence Institute (AI) within the College of Engineering and Computing seeks to fill the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow whose interests are gaining additional training in research, mentoring, and professional development to promote competence in a research career in academia or industry. The post-doctoral fellow will receive training at the AI Institute at UofSC under the mentorship of its director, Professor Amit Sheth. Duties include: Research in Semantic Web, Smart Internet of Things/Web of Things, Image and Video Analysis, Semantic Web enhanced Software Engineering; Applied Research in Internet 4.0 or Smart Manufacturing, Cloud and Edge Computing, Cyber-Physical Systems; Research prototyping and evaluation, Research Project Management, Proposal Development Support; and Publications (writing, related travels), technical presentations, mentoring of junior research students.

PhD in Computer Science or Computer Science & Engineering must be earned by start date.
