Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers' financial needs.
CIB/WIM Business Data Leadership (BDL) team in DMI manages the relationship between DMI and the supported Lines of Businesses coordinating the execution of data activities across DMI, business, technology, governance and architecture; develops and executes roadmaps for migrating the data environment to target state (e.g., data provisioning, application rationalization); leads or provides support to meet enterprise data delivery for Traded Products and Advisory, Fiduciary, Investment and Trust (AFIT) products by building out the TPD and AFIT APPs.
The Data Management Consultant role within the Strategy and Execution Team will be responsible for completing all required governance activities and approvals aligned to APP build out. Release cycle is usually 4-6 weeks and must coordinate completion of deliverables with the technology teams, PMO, and BDL team within tight timelines, escalating when necessary. Responsibilities will also include leading the data delivery for enterprise initiatives. Responsibilities are varied and may include one or more of the following: gather project requirements; develop and maintain project documentation; track and report project status, identify project/production issues and identify resources to provide solutions or escalate to avoid project delays; arrange and/or deliver training for the LOB. This position will also be responsible for assisting with entitlements ordering and setup for partners needing access to Traded Products and AFIT data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Support all DMI governance activities for each APP Buildout release
Bring together business sponsors and SMEs as well as DMI, project and EIT partners to fully capture what is needed and champion the development of solutions that strike a balance between a practical data approach to business problem vs the need for an ongoing commitment to leveraging and furthering the Enterprise Data Environment (EDE)
Analyze data sourcing needs and connect with the Enterprise Data Provisioning roadmap to leverage data that is already available (strategically) or incorporate into future sourcing plan
Support enterprise driven data projects and activities requiring Traded Products and AFIT data
Support entitlements required by CIB, WIM and Enterprise data projects
Support the necessary reporting aligned to the APP buildout and Enterprise data efforts requiring Traded Products and AFIT data delivery

5+ years of relationship management experience with business and technology partners
A BS/BA degree or higher
Experience providing support to a capital markets or complex operations organization
Operational support exposure; preferably in the Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) line of business
Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
