Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are.... We are looking to recruit a Senior Real Assets Project Manager into its well-established Real Estate and Infrastructure Operations Team. In this role you will have project management responsibilities in relation to product development such as Real Estate Fund Launches and operational change initiatives across the Real Estate and Infrastructure product ranges. You will also be primarily responsible for the co-ordination and operational delivery of fund launches and product development projects, working with various internal and external stakeholders.
How you'll spend your time....
To project manage key new initiatives including fund launches across the Real Assets business. Responsibilities will include defining the overall project objectives, key milestones and creating comprehensive project plans. Ensuring regular communication both within the project group and with key internal stakeholders as deliverables/milestones are achieved. Delivery will be required within strict timescales in support of key strategic objectives.
To project manage two ongoing Real Estate fund launches. Responsibilities will include ensuring comprehensive project plans are maintained to track deliverables/risks and progress toward completion on time. To co-ordinate with various internal stakeholders to achieve deliverables as planned. To identify, track and report the key measures of success and provide regular MI reporting to internal stakeholders, providing necessary escalations as required.
To project manage operational change initiatives, including existing product developments and fund terminations across the Real Estate funds. Responsibilities will include ensuring comprehensive project plans are established, to co-ordinate with various internal stakeholders to achieve deliverables as planned. To identify, track and report the key measures of success and provide regular MI reporting to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate. To provide escalations as appropriate.
To project manage Real Asset restructure projects including conversions of current fund structures to more tax efficient vehicles. Responsibilities will include co-ordinating within the Operations Team to achieve its deliverables as planned. To provide any relevant MI reporting as required and provide escalations as appropriate.
To develop and utilise strong working relationships, primarily within the Operations and Investment Teams to ensure thorough and effective management of assigned project initiatives. To Identify all interdependencies and ensures appropriate integration into the project plans.
Responsibility for the co-ordination of the annual ISAE 3402 controls report for the Real Estate business. To project manage the report production, including liaison with business wide internal stakeholders. To act as the central point of co-ordination between numerous business stakeholders and the external auditor. To ensure the project timescales are achieved and produce regular MI reporting as required, including escalations as required.
To act as the main point of escalation for operational project queries, throughout the Operations Team.
To be successful in this role you will have....
Experience in project managing Real Estate fund launches/terminations
Experience in project managing Real Estate or Infrastructure Fund change initiatives
Experience of project managing in a Operations background.
Experience of management of significant projects (e.g., new business / change projects and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures).
Experience in a Financial Services environment
Demonstrates ability to gain sound understanding of the business quickly
Clear and concise communicator with experience of working with colleagues at all levels
Self-starter, deadline driven and can work on own initiative
Strong quantitative, analytical and project management skills are also required.
