Deloitte Services LP is seeking a Director of User Experience to join Deloitte Insights, the content strategy, development, and publishing arm of Deloitteâs Research and Insights organization, to build and lead a new digital operations team. This professional will be responsible for bringing digital-first channel design, information architecture strategy and design thinking to the team to ensure a cohesive user experience across multiple channels. This person will be a champion of our audience, with a deep understanding of their content consumption behaviors and preferences based on research in collaboration with our audience development team, and will work closely with our editorial, production, design, and technology teams to deliver our content via a compelling digital experience.
Deloitte Insights is Deloitteâs publishing imprint for business research and insights. It publishes 300+ reports and periodicals annually, including print, online, interactive, infographics, podcasts, and videos intended to inform Deloitte clients and prospective clients on business issues across industries/sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successful collaboration with both internal partners and external vendors to develop and implement a cohesive and consistent digital-first user experience strategy. The candidate should understand the dynamics of modern digital publishing and have a strong perspective on best practices for optimizing business content. And they should be an unrelenting advocate for the audience, applying an outside-in lens to channel design, information architecture strategy, and all other responsibilities within their purview. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial with a strong track record of moving fast and creating innovative customer experiences. They can rapidly bring ideas to life and excel at analyzing information and synthesizing insights into compelling narratives. The ideal candidate believes that great outcomes are the result of true collaboration.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Develop and deliver UX/UI strategy across multiple products and platforms including web, mobile, app and print
Lead the redesign of DIâs web channel and strategic integration of all channels to create a compelling, consistent and connected content journey for the user, rethinking content taxonomy, information architecture, cross-linking strategy, etc.
Collaborate with the audience development, editorial, and production teams to develop and deploy new content asset types/form factors and templates aimed at improving the content experience and increasing audience engagement
Build the digital operations team and the necessary collaboration model to enable the UX strategyâs success
Manage to the highest design standards, providing clear direction to team members, stakeholders, internal agency partners and outside vendorsÂ
Support audience insights through user research and testing
Maintain a healthy and diverse team culture
Manage the day-to-day operational tasks across multiple workstreams
Present new concepts and strategies to senior executives
