Reporting to the Associate Director of Management Information Systems, and functioning on a multi-campus basis, the Business Applications Administrator/MIS Project Manager will lead new business application software implementations and manage day to day administrative functions of existing software applications. Provides technical training and system analysis directly related to university functions, particularly in the areas of Enrollment Services (Records and Registration, Bursar), Finance, Financial Aid, Recruitment and Admissions, Alumni Relations, Development, and Human Resources. Analyzes the operational needs of these areas and participates in the development of work flow and procedural applications to meet these needs.
1.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field required; experience may be substituted for degree.
2.Minimum of two years supporting IT in a higher education environment.
3.A minimum of 2 years of technical project management experience.
4.Ability to manage multiple complex tasks to ensure goals are attained in a timely manner.
5.Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies, methods and tools quickly to meet business requirements. 6.Strong presentation, verbal and written skills, excellent customer service, as well as high attention to detail. 7.Ability to effectively communicate with both end user and technical teams. 8.Strong background in user technical training.
9.Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague and Unidata preferred.
10.Knowledge of SQL and other relational databases preferred.
11.Valid driver’s license and accessibility to a car for travel between campuses.
