Alpha Professional Services Lead, Vice President Who we are looking for The Alpha Client Solutions and Implementation team in Boston, MA is looking for qualified individuals with experience in workflow design, data analysis, system flows, business architecture, and project management in order to create client solutions and execute implementation of the industry's first ever front-to-back client servicing platform. The successful candidate will have a background in performance and risk measurement must be skilled in analyzing complex business models and flows across front, middle, and back office; requirements gathering; have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; understand global portfolio management, trading and compliance across asset classes along with the associated analytics.
Why this role is important to us The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019. What you will be responsible for As Alpha Professional you will:
This client facing role will be responsible for designing the solution architecture and onboarding new clients onto State Street's front-to-back platform
Lead workflow analysis, data analysis, requirements analysis for current and future state models and architecture in the front office performance measurement and risk space (PMAR)
Lead creation and delivery of internal and client facing on boarding documents (define and build the implementation plan)
Navigate complex client relationships, build strong business relationships and manage expectations with client stakeholders and external partners
Configure platform UX for client-specific workflows
Manage projects throughout various stages of the on-boarding lifecycle (solution design, integration and testing, implementation and BAU hand over)
Become a product and platform SME on State Street's front-to-back platform
Support business development and sales efforts through consultative client engagement and POC's as needed
Provide regular status updates and supporting project management reports as needed
Limited domestic travel maybe required in the future (Post COVID)

Previous hands on experience with Charles River Development would be a plus. Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above. 10+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality specializing in front office performance measurement and risk models.
Experience with middle (IBOR) and back office systems, services and data domains used to drive performance measurement.
Experience integrating with other industry software providers to enable interoperability (i.e. MSCI Barra, CRD, and/or BRS Aladdin.)
Previous experience working on or with Charles River Development and/or MSCI is a differentiator
Ability to engage with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations across project life cycle
Knowledge of financial and statistical concepts including modern portfolio theory and asset pricing theory
Strong analytical, reconcilement and organizational skills
Expert in MS Office including MS Visio, MS Project and PowerPoint
Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally structured and team-based environment, as well as independently
Experience in Agile Methodology and tools (i.e. JIRA, Rally, RTC) preferred
Electronic trading platforms experience is useful but not essential
Experience in portfolio management theory and application is useful but not essential
