The Digital Content Strategist is responsible to the Information Technology Services Associate Chief Information Officer/Chief of Staff for creation and design of strategic content and tactical implementation of content marketing strategies for ETSU digital signage and display systems. This position also:
Works closely with university administrative and academic offices to develop and manage content for inclusion on the university’s digital signage platform.
Works with the Director of Marketing for Online Programs to develop and implement content for recruitment in both internal and external channels.
Assists in developing communication strategies to increase enrollments in ETSU Online course and program offerings.
Writes content to build a storyline across various channels to increase enrollments in ETSU Online course and program offerings.
Serves directly as a point of contact, consultation, and referral for displaying digital content.
Manages and supports the planning, development and deployment of initiatives that promote a high level of service to ETSU through digital and other communication methods.
Adapts to changing priorities.
Is creative and works independently to achieve the goals of ETSU and Information Technology Services.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
This position is contingent upon sufficient funding.
