The Role Responsibilities
Designing and implementing the new Target Operating Model for CCIB performance Management:
Inventory and review of all the work produced by Country, Regional and Central teams
Define, with the Head of the Performance Management team and the major stakeholders (Country and Regional CFOs) what the typical Country and Regional Team blueprint should be, to create an efficient and effective team, diffusing best practices throughout the organisation
Define, with the Head of the Performance Management team and the major stakeholders (Country and Regional CFOs, GFS) the blueprint for the creation of a production team within GFS.
Lead/actively participate in the design and creation of such team, especially the interaction with all stakeholders (Country and Regional CFOs)
Lead in transforming and adapting the Performance Management teams to our new needs: Focus on analysis and digital transformation.
Performance Management and Business partnership:
Review all Processes performed by the Central Team, in conjunction with the Group FP&A Teams (Corporate Plan, MBRs,...)
Define and diffuse standard ways of working (RoTE Calculation, Tax Rate, RoRWA calculation,...), to accurately measure performance across CCIB in regions and countries.
Design, with all relevant stakeholders, a way to simplify and streamline existing CCIB deliverables - Fast close
Lead and Drive digital implementation in our deliverables with our GFS Team
Design and implement common deliverables across all the organisation, and all regions.
Constantly challenge current MI and its relevance, drive simplification, standardization and create efficiencies on a regional basis
Active participation on Finance driven strategic change projects
CCIB Central Performance Management team responsibilities:
Help design and implement clear timelines for timely monthly financial data production and reporting with Group, Regional and Country CFOs
Cost monitoring: working with cost team to design and implement a cost projection framework
Help in steering costs according to plan, linking FTEs to spends
Building a robust framework to allow for efficient cost monitoring and forecasting at CCIB and Products level
Our Ideal Candidate
Degree qualified with at least 10/15 years of relevant experience
Relevant accounting qualification (such as CIMA / ACCA)
Experience of dealing directly with senior management within a large multinational organisation, preferably Financial Institution
Proven ability to drive change, strong team working and networking capability, success of role is reliant on ability to work with many different teams effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills, clear, concise and at appropriate levels of details to tailor to different audiences and purposes
Ability to work in fast pace environment, multi task and respond in short timeframes
High level of numeracy and detailed oriented
Ability to demonstrate the Bank's values in achieving objectives
