We've an exciting opportunity to cover a maternity as Marketing Specialist (Mortgages) to shape, deliver and drive the content strategy for our mortgage intermediaries marketing. In this competitive mortgage market it's important that we're a trusted partner of our mortgage intermediaries, keeping them up to date with our products, policies and proposition, whilst also helping them understand how we can help them navigate the market. In the role you'll be responsible for developing and delivering our mortgage intermediary content marketing strategy. You'll produce all content from advertising, e-mails and in particular social media, to thought leadership and long form research pieces. You'll be our brand ambassador and be creative in how we talk to our brokers! Being able to create innovative distribution strategies to make sure our content is getting to our target markets and develop new communication channels will be key parts of the role. You'll manage marketing relationships with our intermediary business development, product, digital and credit risk teams to ensure alignment and integration. You will also brief and liaise with the design studio, agencies and corporate accounts. Campaign management and creativity is important too. You'll be able to move a project right through from inception to delivery and sign off, always focusing on the objective and bringing the team along with you. Stakeholder management is where you come in to your own. You'll be able to build strong relationships across the business, and with external agencies, and be able to work together to deliver the Society's goals. Reporting on performance to help us continually improve and adjust our content marketing strategy and managing campaigns from small policy changes, through to large scale product launches will also sit within your remit. This is a great opportunity to play an integral part in how we move our approach to intermediary to the next level. Our people are our most valuable asset and we're committed to attracting and retaining the very best people who reflect our values. We recognise the importance of helping you to balance your working life with other priorities, so if you wish to consider this vacancy and your circumstances require between 28 and 35 hours, then let us look at the flexibility you require and see if we can accommodate your needs, whilst ensuring we continue to meet our members' needs. Working from home will play a large part in this role but whilst following the guidelines, time in the office will be required on occasion. (Please note - due to the popularity of our roles and the large volume of applications we receive, we may close the advert earlier than advertised)
To be successful you'll already have experience and a passion when it comes to content marketing! You'll have recent, proven B2B marketing experience, particularly in terms of driving and delivering a content marketing strategy, ideally from a financial services background. Experience of working on brand and social media channels will be important. You'll have already been delivering a content marketing strategy for a period of time and really know how to create content that stands out, whilst meeting customers' needs. You'll be comfortable working across a number of channels and have a good understanding of how they all work together, plus you'll be up to speed with the latest marketing initiatives and advances. You'll be proactive and innovative in nature, spotting opportunities and grabbing them with both hands. You'll always be looking to challenge the status quo if it means delivering on our commercial and brand objectives. You'll have exceptional communication skills at a senior level and will be confident, persuasive and influential. Whilst you'll need to be able to brief agencies and copywriters on the creation of content, you'll also already have the skills to be able to create your own. A good standard of literacy and the ability to adapt your written communication style depending on the audience is key. All of your skills, combined with your approach to work will make you a positive role model for the people around you. Your professional, flexible and enthusiastic attitude will mean our core values will shine through you.
