- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related professional work experience or Master's degree with related professional work experience is required.
- Graduate degree in the field of social work, public health, psychology, public administration or related field is strongly encouraged.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager or project coordinator for a community research project is desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed for this position.
- Experience with data collection, such as administering surveys, in-depth interviews, or focus groups is desirable.
- Bilingual and bi-cultural is preferred.
- Experience with or knowledge of working with Latino and African American communities is desirable.
- Understanding of the importance of cultural humility is required.
- Strong commitment to working in communities with health disparities is required.
- Individuals who are able to work independently with minimal supervision and are flexible are best suited for this opportunity.
- Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment, be motivated, be organized, be detail-oriented, be willing to work under the supervision of the Principal Investigators, and possess the necessary skills to complete projects efficiently and in a timely manner.
