You Will Be Responsible For:
Oversees various IT projects within the Interpreter Services and/or Diversity & Inclusion departments and initiates, defines, plans, documents, coordinates and implements the execution of all activities within the lifecycle of the IT project.
Directs, facilitates and supervises all project team activities to ensure project deliverables are produced in accordance with the defined project objectives.
Works with leadership to identify, assess, manage and minimize risks to successful project completion, notifying appropriate stakeholders when issues arise and taking appropriate corrective action.
Assists in the research, development and implementation of new plans and policies that will aid in quality improvement and control and/or increase patient safety and satisfaction, and works directly with leadership, cross-functional team members and/or outside vendors to facilitate the introduction of new technologies through trials and/or procurements.
Coordinates all IT activities and IT related purchases including hardware, software, and licensees to ensures company resources are utilized appropriately.
Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems.
Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare, project management or related experience
5 years of experience in a healthcare organization (Preferred)
2 years of IT project management experience, preferably in a hospital setting (Preferred)
The Information Technology (IT) Project Coordinator oversees various IT projects within the Interpreter Services and Diversity Inclusion departments.
