Job opportunity with a local public accounting firm offering services in the areas of accounting, taxes, management advisory services, and client monthly accounting services.
Implement accounting engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing projects)
Prepare, reconcile, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures to determine appropriate accounting presentations
Compile statistical, financial, accounting reports pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
Process payrolls, ensuring accuracy as well as compliance with payment, reporting, and other regulatory requirements. Knowledgebase includes quarterly and annual filing requirements.
Maintain accounting procedures for clients including deadlines
Manage time and realistic engagement budgets
Perform other job-related duties as necessary

The ideal candidate for this Bookkeeping position possesses these qualifications:
Dedicated to excellent client services
3 – 5 years minimum experience (preferably with CPA firm) in financial statement analysis and preparation for multiple industries
Well-versed in all aspects of write-up and bookkeeping services
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office. QuickBooks Online experience a plus.
