Saint Paul College is seeking to fill 1 unlimited full-time MnSCU Academic Professional 3 – Curriculum & Assessment Coordinator position. The Curriculum & Assessment Coordinator position coordinates the curriculum and assessment processes for the College. The Coordinator develops standards and trains faculty in upholding standards for curriculum quality and ensures that those standards are met in the design and delivery of new programs and associated courses. In collaboration with faculty and staff the Coordinator will develop and implement an assessment of student learning model that includes Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), College Learning Outcomes (CLOs), and co-curricular outcomes. The Coordinator is central to assessment and planning efforts in academic affairs, student affairs, and institutional research. The Coordinator reports to the Dean of Academic Effectiveness & Innovation and will help steer the development of the College’s curriculum management system to support institution’s standards of quality and outcome assessment. A Bachelor's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design, or related field;
3 years' demonstrated professional experience in curriculum development and student assessment in higher education;
Demonstrated knowledge of assessment of student learning and student success;
Experience with designing course- and program-level outcomes;
Project management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects simultaneously, create clear and attainable project objectives, manage project constraints, and communicate progress and end results.;
Effective written and verbal communication skills sufficient to participate in discussions and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel;
Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, religious, gender identity, sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of college students, staff, and faculty.
Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Education, or related field;
5 years of demonstrated professional experience in curriculum development and student assessment;
Experience teaching in a college or university;
Experience assisting faculty in assessing student learning.
