The Chief of Staff role is an opportunity to gain exposure to Senior Management across the organization and learn about the broader company business and strategic priorities. The Chief of Staff will assume multiple day to day operational responsibilities and projects on behalf of the CEO and the Group Senior Vice Presidents (GSVPs) while establishing and maintaining cross-departmental relationships to advance key priorities for the organization. As a key advisor to the CEO and GSVPs, you will interact and engage at all levels of the organization to develop organizational plans, lead internal and external planning, create, define and oversee major initiatives, prepare analyses, routine reporting, and business cases to support investments, acquisitions, and cross functional programs. You will also support the CEO and GSVPs in development and/or analysis of business metrics in preparation for routine and ad hoc internal meetings such as monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews, Corporate Board and Advisory Board Meetings. You will organize and engage with M&A opportunities and routine business planning. Your role will require you to leverage and/or create metrics to proactively identify organizational needs that will inform the actions we take to achieve desired business results. This is a unique rotational assignment, allowing for future transition into a role with direct operating responsibilities in one of our business areas.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Act as a trusted advisor to the Group Senior Vice Presidents (GSVPs) across all strategic & operational initiatives. Lead the annual planning process and helping to prioritize activities, deliverables, and special projects, as well as perform financial, strategic and operational analysis.
Provide extensive financial planning and analysis in support of Medecision’s business strategy and future growth.
Drive our mission and strategic priorities forward, while balancing both long-term strategic vision and operational execution support. This includes assisting leaders to identify priorities, define focus, and strategically align their time to achieve desired outcomes, while shaping objectives, KPIs and financial goals.
Advises on a variety of long-term, cross-organizational projects and ensures deliverables are provided on schedule, surface and resolve bottlenecks, and create or modify business processes to streamline operations or meet evolving needs.
Providing recommendations and oversight to insure effective execution through process improvement and adherence.
Prepare and continuously improve all Operational and Financial reporting for each functional operation in collaboration with their Project Managers, Operational leaders, and in collaboration with the administrative support functions.
Respond to the day-to-day needs of the GSVPs including preparing presentations and correspondence, attending internal or external meetings on behalf of executives, preparing talking points, taking notes at meetings, and preparing and processing necessary documentation required for internal approvals.
Prepare GSVPs for leadership and board meetings including presentation materials, reports, metrics, dashboards; participate in meetings for minutes and action items.
Clearly articulating vision and strategy by helping coordinate internal leadership communications that drives transparency, facilitates connectivity, and enables accountability.
Facilitate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and appropriate risk-taking through personal example, mentorship, and accomplishments.
Partner with Executive Assistant to strategically balance long vs short-term priorities and the Executive calendar
Encourages knowledge sharing that provides learning opportunities for team members.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Completion of an MBA degree program, preferably with a business management, entrepreneurship, finance, information technology, consulting, or human capital concentration.
Minimum of 5 years of professional working experience is required.
Proven quantitative finance skills with strong financial modeling, dashboards, and metrics competencies; advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
Demonstrated familiarity with Accounting principles, including GAAP Financial understanding.
Prior experience in corporate finance is highly preferred. Capability to provide strong contribution to M&A strategy and long-term strategic revenue growth is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to understand strategic goals and operational plans of the business and each dependent function; ability to proactively connect current activity to the future goals.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices; SAFe Agile Certification preferred or is required to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Ability to navigate the leadership team with confidence and collaboration to identify and manage communications and conflict among them and members of their teams.
Ability assist senior leadership to ensure programs, projects and all matters supporting our Operating Plans are on track; possesses acute awareness of when to facilitate points of escalation (through facts and data), dialog and problem resolution if/when risks arise.
Proactive, resourceful, self-motivated, and should possess exemplary interpersonal skills to interact professionally with all levels in the organization.
