An outstanding opportunity to personally influence the Bank's Capital Infrastructure Strategy.
The Finance Change department provides change delivery services to Finance partners, including large-scale regulatory change. The Balance Sheet, Leverage and Capital Program has recently developed a multi-year infrastructure implementation strategy using Big Data technology. There is currently an open position for Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager hybrid role based in our London office, in Canary Wharf.
You have an excellent track record in large-scale regulatory infrastructure change and be able to demonstrate expertise in the following areas with concrete examples:
Delivery of a Harmonized Capital Calculator bringing together the consolidated needs of the Investment Bank and Private Bank in line with tight regulatory adoption timelines.
Establish and grow a multi-location team across London, Switzerland and India to support the delivery plan.
Harmonization of data, infrastructure and business processes across Swiss and Non-Swiss environments.
Developing a data control framework (in conjunction with business process controls) - ensure data integrity with upstream systems and across the delivery (incl. Migration States and Interim state data controls / reconciliations).
Defining a data control principles e.g. data sourced immutably from golden sources, single point of adjustment.

To be involved in key aspects of the firm's on-going Capital strategy. You will be expected to display detailed understanding of regulatory deliverables to discuss and define on-going deliveries with key business subject matter specialists.
Ability to summarize and contextualize complex regulations and implementation strategy in a succinct manner that can be presented to senior management up to the C-suite level.
Outstanding presentation skills, ability to deliver presentation to senior audience and drive consensus in large working groups with a wide breadth of partners.
Able to run operating committees, senior working groups and presenting at steering committees.
Detailed understanding of project and program management to define and shape deliverables that are a result of in-depth business analysis.
Understanding of the firm's front to back data architecture and operating model at the enterprise wide level and in the context of capital calculations and regulatory reporting in particular.
Excellent understanding of new Basel IV regulations and implications on the bank's capital reporting needs.
Knowledge in Credit Risk modelling.
Excellent business and functional understanding and experience of how the bank's finance function operates.
Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure as they relate to capital calculations and regulatory reporting.
Results-oriented, hardworking individual along with the ability to steer high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
Ability to manage teams that are mixture of on-site and virtual across different functions within CFO and across the bank.
Leading, upskilling and motivating a team in a multi-disciplinary and global environment, delivering products within specific timescales and working alongside multiple senior partners.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with business partners and demonstrate credible knowledge of the finance function.
Proven track record of program delivery of change across both business and technology architecture, ideally with an understanding of big data technology.
Excellent leadership, business, functional, data and organizational skills. Proven ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressured timelines.
Experience in a Big 4 or top-tier investment bank.
Relevant prior knowledge in setting up regulatory reporting processes in a top tier investment bank.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
