The Navitus Health Solutions Managed Care Residency Program focuses on the development of strong leadership skills, effective communication, efficient project management, and critical data analysis in a Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) environment. At the end of the one-year program, the resident will possess essential knowledge and proficiencies in the following capabilities: clinical operations, clinical account management, research, clinical programs and population health, drug utilization, informatics and data analysis, leadership, formulary management, drug information, industry relations and contracting, P&T processes, patient care activities, provider services, government programs, specialty pharmacy (including scheduled hours each week at Lumicera Health Services, the on-site specialty pharmacy), many teaching and mentoring opportunities (including an optional Teaching Certificate Program), and other elective projects.
