The purpose of this position is support the University's software applications as they pertain to students, faculty and staff business processes[SS1] . This position ensures that systems are working properly and that integrations and communications are established as needed for testing and productivity of all systems.
Assists IT staff in reviewing business processes and make recommendations for improvements
Assists in providing technical support for administrative applications, specifically Colleague and retention CRM[SS2]
Assists in providing application guidance to Colleague user community on applications managed by Enterprise Application Services
Creates and update documentation for Colleague updates and maintenance and other administrative systems.
Supports departmental staff and IT leadership with the identification, evaluation, selection, support and maintenance of Colleague modules and other administrative systems as assigned.
Provides systems analysis and problem solving support to provide efficient and effective use of Colleague student information system in support of the department's strategic s goals and objectives.
Provides maintenance, appropriate use, production and problem solving support, and ad-hoc reporting support for any administrative system.
Works with others on IT projects that integrate with Colleague. Have input in the planning of upgrades to the Colleague software including the evaluation of the effort involved, the steps required, and the provision of information related to operational changes

Assists with designing, implementing, administering, and maintaining 3rd party connectors (API, batch, or flat file) to systems that integrate with the Colleague system including ACI/Official Payments, Entrinsik Informer, Canvas, SharePoint, ADP, Follett, CampusLabs and Microsoft Dynamics CRM[SS3] .
Assists with designing, programming, implementing, administering, and maintaining custom Unibasic, SQL, WebAdvisor, Self Service, ELF, Sub Routines, Fields, and Envision forms and programs.
Other duties and responsibilities:

Perform other job-related duties, as assigned.
A general understanding of the MSMU departmental operations and administrative software usage and knowledge of computer systems and software, including database and project management systems.
Abilities and Skills:
Has the understanding and ability to assist in the designing, implementing, administering, and maintaining the Colleague ERP systems environments for all school purposes. Including Core, UT, Finance, Financial Aid, Student, AP, AR/CR, Budget, Purchasing, Advancement, HR, Self Service, WebAdvisor, Dashboards, and typical Reporting tools.
Additionally, prefer general experience of relational database reporting tools including PL/SQL, Cognos, Crystal Reports, Tableau or Informer.
If appropriate, knowledge of document management systems, such as Perceptive Content.
Needs to have strong problem solving skills, proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate project status and provide assistance in departmental projects.
Show ability to populate and test rule and validation tables.
Ability to work with developed testing plans, and manage the work of departmental resources, strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, vendors and the public are required.
Needs to have strong written, oral and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree preferred, years of experience may substitute for degree.
At least five (5) years of experience with project management, student services and/or academic administration in higher education is preferred.
Extensive experience utilizing or supporting an Enterprise Relational Planning (ERP) database system highly preferred.
