Surgical implantation of multi-electrode arrays, EMG, radio-opaque markers
Collect electrophysiological and biomechanical data
Analyze neural, XROMM (X-ray Reconstruction of Moving Morphology), and behavioral data
Support PI with project managements, grant applications, staff supervision
Trains and mentors laboratory personnel
Creates first drafts for scientific writing and publications, including protocols and grants
Performs other related work as needed
PhD in Systems or Computational Neuroscience, Engineering, Biology
Experience with behavioral neurophysiology
Experience with biplanar videoradiography and XROMM
Experience with non-human primate research
Demonstrated proficiency with network-level computational modeling of neural systems
Two or more peer-reviewed papers at the time of appointment
Experience with computer programming and analyzing high-dimensional data using Matlab or Python
