We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are a busy 5 doctor practice located in beautiful Sebastian, Florida. Our hospital is over 9,000 square feet with 8 exam rooms, a spacious treatment area with 3 bays (exam and wet table), 2 dedicated surgical suites, large surgical prep area, separate dentistry suite, dedicated radiology suite, a large laboratory/pharmacy, and individual doctor stations. We have digital radiography (newly purchased in 2013) and digital dental radiography as well. We have in-house Idexx diagnostics (CBC, Chem, T4, cPL, FeLV/FIV, Parvo SNAP, etc.). Our large pharmacy is well-stocked with a large variety of medications that allows freedom to dispense the most appropriate medication for your patient at the time of treatment. In addition, we will order any medication that you would like to have in stock as well. We have an ultrasound machine in hospital for our doctors to use as point-of-care as well as a Veterinary Ultrasonographer available for scheduled sonograms with internist review (Internal Medicine and Cardiology). We employ Cornerstone software in our practice.
Our doctors practice high quality medicine and value the collaboration that is available from working with multiple veterinarians as a team. A second opinion is always available but at the same time you are free to practice medicine as you wish without any pressure to do things any certain way. We offer a very competitive salary and benefits package. We are open 7 days a week which has allowed our practice to flourish and build a dedicated loyal clientele. However, our hours are very reasonable; doctors are scheduled from 8 am to 8 pm with flexibility in the number and duration of hours per shift. In addition, there is no on-call requirement as there is an emergency clinic located within a relatively short distance that also provides specialty services.
If you are interested in joining our progressive, fast-growing, high-quality team, please let us know. Sebastian is a wonderful place to live as there are many activities to enjoy - fishing, going to the beach, festivals, nature preserves, live entertainment, excellent dining, etc. Our town always has something fun to do but it is not too crowded so it is a nice balance between the hustle and bustle of city life and the laid-back friendly appeal of a small town.
