The Senior Manager EHR shall be responsible for:
Leading a group of teams that help us deliver on our mission of implementing technology to help improve outcomes, improve the patient & clinician experience, and lower costs.
Operating within a matrixed environment, the incumbent of this role is responsible for executing on a large portion of the clinical project portfolio, the advancement of mobile clinical applications, our CPOE program, and customer service.
Managing the capacity, assignments, and throughput of teams
Assisting with project portfolio management
Providing operational and strategic oversight of mobile clinical applications
Managing technical transformation of Pathology IT Team
Oversight of Program Management in defined areas, namely CPOE and the Emergency Department
Maintaining a short-term (6-12 months) and long-term (1-3 years) plans. Frame the teams' priorities and focus accordingly.
Coordinating and supporting project go-lives with the support of the PMO. Facilitate a clean turnover process for the transition from a project to production operations.
Implementing change management across teams.
In order to qualify you must have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
10 or more years of experience in IT Implementation and support, a significant portion of which should be in the Health Care IT space
5 or more years in a leadership role, preferably with significant people-management experience
Experience in three or more of the following areas: project management, program management, information systems implementation, application integration, Pathology IT.
