This thriving multi-location optometry group provides full-service optometry to families and residents in Davidson County and surrounding communities of all ages, insurances, and visual/medical diagnoses. Combining cutting-edge technology and a caring team of professionals, Optometric Physicians of Middle Tennessee takes a whole health approach to eye care, specializing in dry eye treatment, low vision, myopia control, ocular disease and management, specialty contact lenses, vision therapy and vision rehabilitation. This tech-forward practice uses state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. About the opening
Optometric Physicians of Middle Tennessee is seeking a full-time Associate Optometrist who is passionate about providing the highest level of patient-centric care. In this role, you practice at various locations, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and alternate Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A candidate with experience in private practice and/or retail with residency training would be a complimentary addition to the practice (although not required). This is an excellent opportunity to join a solid, privately-owned practice and learn from other experts in a supportive environment. Plus, the practice has a large established patient base as well as a strong referral base.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
