The Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine invites applications for a 100% open rank non-tenure clinical or tenure track Breast Imaging faculty position within the Department of Radiology.
This position will join our growing Breast Imaging Division. Applicants must be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology and have four years of post-training in Radiology. Experience working with Breast Imaging curriculum is desired and this position may develop into the Director of the Breast Imaging Fellowship.
About the Department of Radiology:
The Radiology Department includes thirty-seven staff physicians, fourteen fellows, fifteen Ph.D. researchers, and thirty-six residents. The Breast Imaging and Intervention Center offers a comprehensive evaluation of patients with breast diseases and symptoms using the most advanced technologies and techniques including:
State of the art tomosynthesis mammography
Magnetic resonance imaging
Percutaneous biopsy, including stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guidance
The breast Imaging and Intervention Center is fully accredited by the Iowa State Department of Public Health and the American College of Radiology.

Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology.
Working experience in all aspects of breast imaging, including 3D Mammography.
Multiple years of experience presenting cases to multidisciplinary breast tumor boards.

Highly Desirable Qualifications
Three to five years of research and scholarship experience.
At least two years of experience developing Breast Imaging curriculum for medical students, residents and fellows.
At least two years of experience with ACGME requirements for resident education.
Experience establishing collaborative ventures with academic and non-academic health care practices.
Proficiency in all aspects of diagnostic breast MRI and breast MRI intervention.
