Talented Project Manager to join our Construction Management team. The role of Project Manager requires strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, with a background in project/construction management, and some experience with client representation. Projects will include a large underground parking garage and pedestrian bridge. Candidates with similar project experience are encouraged to apply.
Management of and accountability for the planning, design, permitting, construction and turnover of construction projects.
Responsible for delivering projects on-time, on budget, and to mutually agreed expectations.
Lead the creation and validation of budget documentation. Lead the development and management of overall project budget to meet client requirements.
Facilitate involvement of the project's key stakeholders at appropriate levels and times.
Develop, coordinate and facilitate hand off of the facility to client's operations personnel.
Guide design development through applicable sustainability reviews or building certification preparations to meet project/client requirements.
Own the development of program processes and tools that facilitate consistency and quality execution across the project/program.
Other duties as assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team). Responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members.

BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable.
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Internet Explorer, Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Project or other scheduling software.
Experience with underground structures and/or bridge construction is strongly preferred
5+ years of project and construction management experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
