Dent Med-Dental Public Health - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (20004647)
The Project Manager will manage day-to-day operations and overall coordination of a 3-year, FDA-funded U01 (end date 8/31/2023) developing an evidence-based guideline for the management of acute dental pain, creating a nationwide dissemination and implementation plan for the guideline, and evaluating the dissemination and implementation plan in five states. The Project Manager will be responsible for working closely with the American Dental Association and University of Pittsburgh co-PIs, project team members, FDA Program Official, and external stakeholders to ensure that the project deliverables are met. The Project Manager will facilitate the collection of quantitative and qualitative data and their analyses, organize regular study team meetings, record minutes, and prepare reports.
Master's degree in Project Management, Dental Hygiene, Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, or other related field required. At least three years of research or project coordination experience required. Prior health services or epidemiologic research experience preferred. Prior experience with IRB applications and funding agency correspondence preferred. Able to pass University's CITI training in Good Clinical Practice, Responsible Conduct of Research, and Human Subjects Research.
