The NFL’s Club Business Development department (Club BD) supports the 32 clubs in delivering direct local value and best-in-class fan experiences via data driven insights and innovation. In addition to working with the clubs, Club BD works cross-functionally to provide guidance on key strategic initiatives at a League level.
The Club BD Associate will work across the department to support reporting & analytics, ticketing, marketing, sponsorship, gameday experience, and special projects.
Analyze ticket sales, pricing, premium seating and sponsorship data to deliver club benchmarking reports and league reporting to develop actionable insights, best practices, and help inform club and league strategy
Support the Club BD Account Director team on managing communications between league and clubs, club data collection efforts, and presentation builds for market visits
Provide analysis on tentpole event ticket pricing and inventory management
Support League fan experience initiatives, including researching fan engagement best practices across sports properties, inside and outside the NFL
Identify and develop research, analyses, and recommendations in support of League policy decisions
Support League’s overall ticketing strategy and operations
Identify and develop best practices to support clubs considering stadium renovations
Assist in the preparation of Club Workshop and League Meeting materials
Collaborate with other NFL League Office departments that touch club business, including Club Digital Strategy team, Media Strategy Group, Sponsorship, Marketing, Consumer Products, Data & Analytics
Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to derive insights from data / analytics / research
Highly collaborative and results driven
Strong Communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks, good time management and organization skills
Candidate should be a self-starter, independent, a creative thinker, ambitious, results and detail-oriented
Comfortable presenting information in front of a group
Min of 2-3 years of experience
Experience with data visualization tools a plus
