Create the strategic framework to deliver annual joint business plans with customer; using curiosity to drive innovation and addressing emerging retail trends is key
Develop and sustain close collaborative interaction with the customer’s buying and operations teams, as well as internal cross-functional partners
Utilize strong negotiation and business acumen skills, as well as responsiveness and attention to detail
Demonstrate focus in delivering on the Customer Value Proposition - meet agreed upon profit contribution in line with the overall company revenue and profit objectives; accountable for inventory turns, sales performace, and other scorecard performance metrics
Manage trade funding and collaborate with customer on utilization of funds while focusing on driving sales in a mutually-beneficial manner

The Sales Department is responsible for delivering outstanding service to our retail partners. The sales team must deliver on mutually developed joint business plans through strategic partnerships that demonstrate the strength of both LEGO and the customer to improve opportunities for growth. In Sales we lead the business with growing complexity and interdependency, in a market that requires greater differentiation among retailers. Collaboration with colleagues to effectively handle the market verse optimizing one’s own business is a critical component to this department.
This role is vital in delivering against our stakeholders’ needs and expectations as well as achieving both team and company goals and ambitions. Both traditional and digital key account experience is required in a fast paced, constantly changing retail environment. The position also requires strong results-orientation and networking skills, with responsibilities spanning across end-to-end business functions. Attention to detail and the ability to motivate will make you a key member of the team as you help us ensure we’re constantly raising the bar.
Are you up for the challenge?
3+ years related experience in consumer packaged goods
An insights-based approach and an omnichannel lens to serve the needs of both The LEGO Group and the customer
Proven expertise in negotiation skills, strategic planning (including turning plans into accomplishments), forecasting, inventory management, and critical thinking
Strong professional skill set including a solid business acumen, collaborative mindset, strong communication, team orientation and integrity
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, working across several functions by leveraging strong planning and organizational skills to drive effective and timely exection
Self-motivated, creative, results driven with an ability to think critically, interpret trends and challenge the status quo
Demonstrate regular practice of the LEGO® Leadership Playground behaviors – bravery, curiosity, focus
