Support the Bank on the development, review and implementation of compensation & benefits ("C&B") programs under the Total Compensation Framework, and ensure their compliance with regulatory requirements.
Keep abreast of latest market development and sentiment, conduct regular review of C&B policies and procedures with reference to market best practices and the strategical needs of the bank.
Coordinate, take lead and provide support in various annual C&B exercises, including but not limited to pay review, benefits review, staff cost budgeting, bonus exercise, etc.
Ensure internal relativity and external market competitiveness of the Bank's C&B programs by maintaining job evaluation system and market intelligence.
Take lead in the participation of market surveys to gauge latest market pay and benefits trends, conduct salary and benefits benchmarking, analyze market data and prepare proposal of enhancement for management's consideration.
Coordinate headcount and staff cost budgeting and ongoing management, and conduct staff cost analysis to provide insight in development of HR strategies.
Manage benefits programs including provident fund scheme, various group employee insurance scheme and benefit review to ensure that benefits level are market competitive with consideration of relevant cost impact.
Drive performance management culture of the Bank including divisional balanced scorecard, individual performance appraisal and annual remuneration system review.
Provide expertise advices in relation of C&B areas to HR Group colleagues and wider internal clients.
Support strategic development of HR Group by undertaking C&B projects as necessary.
Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines;
Minimum 14 years' relevant experience in areas of compensation & benefits in banking industry with 5 years at supervisory level.
Possess high market awareness in the latest development of employment practices in the banking industry and sound understanding of regulatory requirements relating to remuneration, including but not limited to HKMA's CG-5.
Strong knowledge in Employment Ordinance and related regulations, and applicable related policies and laws.
Knowledge and experience of participating in market surveys, and make use of the data to conduct analysis and draw necessary conclusion.
Excellent analytical and PC skills.
Demonstrated project management skills, and writing skills in both Chinese and English
