X-Ray/Cat ScanTechnologists use diagnostic x-ray and computerized tomography (CT) scanners toproduce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for thediagnosis of medical issues. A X-Ray/CT Technologist must be able to accuratelyinterpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials,prepare and operate the X-Ray/CT scan equipment, and position the patient tocapture the appropriate images. Here is some of what to expect as a X-Ray/CTTech with us:
Your role is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all X-Ray & CT procedures.
You will communicate and work independently in performing all X-Ray & CT procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
Your role uses x-ray and computed tomography equipment to take images of a patient’s body from different angles.
You will prepare patients for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Your role positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees.
X-Ray & CTTechnologist Requirements:
Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Certified by ARRT.
ARRT(RT)(CT) current and CE compliance & Current BLS certification required.
3 years CT/X-Ray experience required. X-Ray and CT experience required.
Solid to expert knowledge of all X-Ray/CT procedures.
Equipment: GE Revolution Evo CT, Definium 8000 X-Ray Machine, GE Digital Portable
Afull-service emergency department, SkyRidge South Parker ER is staffed 24/7 by board-certified emergency medicinephysicians and specially trained nurses with expertise in pediatrics to providepersonalized emergency care to the whole family. Complete with 11 patient bedsand a designated resuscitation room, the facility offers onsite servicestypically found only in a hospital setting, including:
Computerizedtomography (CT) scan
Board-certifiedER physicians, nurses and emergency medical technicians (EMTs)
Fullspectrum of emergency diagnostic services
