The IT Integration Analyst supports existing technology solutions by developing integrations between a wide variety of products and systems. This person will work with vendors, consultants, and employees at all levels of the college to gather integration requirements, develop and evaluate potential solutions, plan and implement the selected solution, and test and evaluate the efficacy of the integration. Requirements A combination of education and paid information technology work experience equal to five (5) years -OR- Associate degree from an accredited institution in the area of computer science, information systems, project management, or a related field -AND- One year of paid information technology work experience Core Competencies - Experience with integrating systems in a seamless, efficient manner using modern, secure practices;
- Solid understanding of internet server technologies including service-oriented architecture;
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment;
- Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans;
- Demonstrated understanding of programming best-practices related to internet security.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams;
- Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies;
- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment;
- Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail;
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the field of computer science, information systems, or a related field;
- Familiarity with modern practices related to application integration (ETL, file transfer, information security considerations, communication between applications)
- Experience with Ellucian Banner products;
- Experience working in a higher education environment;
- Familiarity with education privacy practices and laws (FERPA)
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational database concepts;
- Experience with SQL programming language and/or other modern coding language
