PMG Management Office is the Operating Centre of Excellence for Product Management Group across all offerings, all teams and all locations. The team is responsible for strategic initiatives, data management, new products, change and transformation including Advisory & Execution, operational risk and business management.
Reporting to the Head of PMG Management Office, your will be responsible to build and manage a team responsible for regulatory compliance for all the PMG owned Policies and Products. Understanding new requirements, you will drive end to end delivery and change management of projects working with PMG stakeholders and other BOS teams such as L&C, Tech and OPS. This include assessing the impact, scoping the changes required, defining business requirements and driving projects to the expected outcome in time and budget. You will also be responsible for strategic product initiatives, product approval process and the maintenance of Policies owned by PMG such as Suitability Policy and Sales Policy. The role requires thought leadership, product shelf & regulatory product management and WM policy management. Proven track record in project management and product management as well as strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate and lead others under pressure to achieve complex objectives and deliver practical results are key aspects of the talented individual we are looking to hire.
Advise and support PMG Management Committee on PMG strategic agenda aligned to regulatory changing landscape
Responsible for Product Approval Committee and maintenance of the PMG approved product shelf
Support Global PMG Head in managing the Suitability Policy and the Sales Policy as well as other policies and related processes owned by PMG
Own and manage the Product Catalogue
In charge of product compliance checks and relevant rules engines
Responsible for identification of legal and regulatory changes affecting PMG Product shelf. This may include setting up a project team to scope the necessary developments and deliver in an Agile or Waterfall the remediation within timeline and budget.
Lead change management and product related IT project management
Post implementation review of Policy changes and Project delivered including effectiveness and user experience
Conduct regular deep dives and reviews on some past regulatory and audit requirements to ensure we always improve with the most efficient solutions
Responsible for FI product due diligence
Relevant experience preferably in capital markets, private banking or wealth management with focus on project management, product management, risk management
Passionate about regulations and thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape as well as operational risk management framework
Embracing challenges in a quickly changing, complex and uncertain environment.
Being persuasive, persistent and having high stress tolerance to reach compliance within stringent deadlines.
Degree qualified with at least 10- 15 years' experience; preference will be for candidates with good analytical skills, understanding of business/product matters in banking and experience in leading a team
You are driven and confident even when confronted to complex and uncertain situations focusing on delivering the right solution at the right time
You demonstrate effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Master's degree (preferable) / University degree from a reputable university
