Proven track record in managing and administrating construction related forms of contract not limited to SIA, PSSCOC, PAM, FIDIC (Red Book, Yellow Book, Silver Book, Pink Book), EPCIC and other customary bespoken contract forms.
Excellent communication skills with a history of negotiating and client management with the various stakeholders of the contract.
Ability to interface with other project partners/ stakeholders as well as internal business units (Legal, Finance, Engineering and Planning, Sourcing / Procurement)
Experience with project start-up activities, managing project variation control system, administration of Contract correspondence and supporting negotiations.
Coordinating and supporting contractual cost/ time/ insurance/ warranty related claims including preparing detailed assertions, written responses and schedule impacts.
Provide advice, assistance and guidance to senior management, project managers and functions on project specific contract matters.
Oversee the invoicing process ensuring that the project maintains free cash flow.
Accurately report the project cost status and advise on variances, risks and corrective actions affecting the overall project estimate to complete.
Ensure contract risks are identified and managed across the project scopes.
Support periodic client and internal reporting and performance presentations.
Work with all relevant internal departments for the passing of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 including ISO 27001 internal audits of the projects within the Company.
Experienced professional with typically a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position and in complex contracts and negotiation and having worked on major renewable plants, construction related / infrastructure projects and having managed construction related forms of contract not limited to SIA, PSSCOC, PAM, FIDIC (Red Book, Yellow Book, Silver Book, Pink Book), EPCIC and other customary bespoken contract forms including prior experience in operation and maintenance contracts
Sound knowledge of the technical, legal, contractual and commercial disciplines connected with Engineering, Procurement and Construction ("EPC") and other Construction forms of Contracts related projects.
Prior project experience in solar renewable industry both in Singapore and Vietnam is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
Team player and meticulous to details.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
·High fluency in oral and written English and Vietnamese language is a must as this role will work closely with Vietnam office counterparts.
Ideally Degree qualified.
Subjects: Building, Project and Facilities Management/ Project Management/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with postgraduate and/or professional qualifications
