The Role Responsibilities
SCM is the 'SME' for Vendor Service risk and includes Outsourcing risk under the Bank's Operational Risk Framework. SCM is also responsible for setting up and maintaining the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework (incl TPRM Policy ad Standards). SCM also plays the First Line role for the Requisition to Pay processes and manages the Group Business Expenditure Standards (GBES)
In this role, the incumbent is responsible for managing special projects related to these areas. Examples include timebound projects like Conduct implementation for SCM, implementation of the periodic review programme for 3 rd parties, uplift of TP arrangements to EBA standards etc. The incumbent will work collaboratively with all lines of businesses and functions as well as risk groups to ensure that such time bound programmes are set up in line with risk and regulatory expectations and completed within timelines. The incumbent is also responsible for managing the High Risk portfolio - pipeline and ongoing with regular reporting at BENFRC.
Work alongside Senior Manager Governance to develop the governance agenda for SCM and prioritise special projects as appropriate and in accordance with the Bank's priorities.
Act as both the lead and an internal subject matter expert on Vendor service risk( including Outsourcing) and TPRM framework to set up these special projects for completion within stated timelines.
Ensure that the High Risk Arrangement (HRA) portfolio is managed within approved Risk Appetite with regular reporting at Risk Committees. Also ensure reporting on HRA pipeline
Ensure that such projects are executed and completed as per the Bank's risk management framework as well as Regulatory requirements on Outsourcing.
Ensure proper documentation, data and audit trail for any work done
Ensure timely updated to Risk committees / Senior stakeholders including risks, issues and dependencies is any seen
Lead or Support as relevant similar projects in countries
Lead / support stress test analysis as needed / updates to Regulators as needed
Lead / support audit and assurance reviews
Overall participation SCM
Provide feedback loop into Process, Policy and Risk teams for improvements / changes if any needed
Support other initiatives within SCM or SCM's representative in other Projects in eth Bank as relevant

Our Ideal Candidate
Bachelor/Master Degree with 10+ years' experience of which last 3 years are in a risk management role
Risk experience, including knowledge of SCB' ERMF and ORTF framework
A good grasp on Regulatory Obligations of CMG countries
Ability to understand and present data
Excellent people management and leadership abilities
Superior communication, facilitation and consensus-building skills
Demonstrated relationship-building skills, with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of positive influence
High degree of personal initiative
