The Talent Development Partner will serve as a primary HR business partner for the Creative, Marketing & Digital organizations. This role will support the Talent initiatives for employees based out of our New York City and Jersey City locations. We rely on you to keep a “pulse” on our employee population, the culture and dynamics in the departments, and to develop strong talent solutions to support our business.
Provide day-to-day partnership and counsel on all HR disciplines: talent development & coaching, recruitment, organizational design, employee relations, learning & development and compensation.
Partner/leverage our Talent Centers of Excellence teams to support client groups and execute HR programs.
Develop, support, and communicate policies and procedures. Manage risk and ensure legal compliance by keeping current with the regulatory environment.
Support initiatives that help to maintain an open and positive work environment. Encourage and drive consistency in all execution of Talent Policies and Practices.
Implement, maintain and evolve employee programs, policies and procedures.
Proactively address employee relations efforts and conduct balanced investigations
Manage on and off boarding process (partner with managers on processing the information via workday)
Evaluate and recommend improvements in the areas of talent development at both the associate and leadership levels to strengthen skillset across teams
Facilitate talent management processes (year-end, mid-year, goals cascades, talent calibrations, culture survey, comp reviews, etc.) and coach client groups on how to evaluate, motivate and effectively lead talent
Support delivery of talent development initiatives (i.e. DiSC assessment)
Provide HR support in organizational change initiatives. Partner with the business to develop and maintain a strategic, creative, and fluid org design and talent roadmap.
EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR
Well-rounded in the areas of talent management, recruitment, employee relations, and organizational design
Experience working with creative and innovative teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externally (encompasses verbal, written, listening)
Commercial judgment, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to make timely decisions
Strong ability to influence
Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations issues
A bachelor's degree or requisite experience
Experienced in all of Microsoft Office/Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
