A leading Financial Services organisation is looking to hire a Solutions Manager to be based in Nottingham on a permanent basis. The focus for this role is to manage key projects for product and engineering requests that need to be delivered and rolled out across the entire firm whilst working closely with other stakeholders to ensure that requirements and agreed solutions meet the strategic criteria, as well as providing support in sizing and costing efforts.
You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of incoming requests, ensuring the requests are feasible, manage the intake process, working with stakeholders to ensure the right solution is documented and agreed as well as support delivery. You will need to maintain relationships across the business with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need:
Background in Business Analysis, Project Management and within a Financial Services / information technology organisation
Experience in Product Management or Product Ownership
Experience in managing demand and capacity would be highly beneficial – understanding proof of concept
Strong understanding of technology and how it fits into the business
Strong and confident interpersonal skills, able to build close relationships and interact with colleagues at various levels
Experience working in a Lean/Agile Environment (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, etc)
