Senior Consultant – Strategy
As part of our Strategy team, you’ll design customized strategies to generate in-year returns, while driving innovation and solidifying our clients’ foundation for the future. Our multi-disciplinary teams use a nimble, adaptive approach that enables organizations to disrupt current markets and grow into new ones. With an obsessive commitment to results, you’ll partner with clients to create strategies aligned to their specific objectives, measuring success based on bottom-line results.
Exciting Work You Will Do:
Develop and deliver innovative solutions to consulting clients in the areas of strategic planning, corporate strategy development, and business performance improvement.
Build a customer-focused relationship with clients to identify business challenges and arrive at the best solution.
Provide consulting in areas such as process optimization, growth maximization, merger and acquisition strategy, or business operations design.
May create proposals, SOWs, respond to RFPs, and present proposals to clients.
Conduct needs analysis, determine project specifications, and identify solutions.
Drive working sessions with clients to ensure expectations and direction are aligned and timelines are being met.
Collaborate across multiple internal teams (e.g., finance, risk management, marketing, supply chain, IT, HR) to ensure successful delivery of results based on scope of work.
Responsible for tracking work hours by type of activity and maintaining full utilization (billable hours) as set by organization.
Use knowledge of Strategic Consulting skills and effective project management skills to plan and lead work streams with small teams.
Manage own activities and those of team members to deliver desired business outcomes.
Focus on quality completion of deliverables.
Establish positive relationships with clients and peers that build credibility, foster your support network and empower career development.
What You Will Need:
3+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience.
The ability to travel to fulfill client requirements and project needs, and for personal development.
An entrepreneurial mindset, including an excellent ability to uncover new opportunities for account growth and impact.
An ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates.
A demonstrated track record of successfully working on large, complex consulting engagements, including roles that involved managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives, and the community at large.
Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. A master’s degree and/or applicable professional certifications are bonuses.
