A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Counseling, or related field; a minimum of two years of experience working with students in k-12, community or college setting; two years of experience in project management including planning, organizing and coordinating programs in community, k-12 or higher ed settings; proven ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written means; proven interpersonal, organizational, and supervisory skills required; demonstrated proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiarity with database systems, and Google Suite. This position requires extended hours in the summer, and regular nights and weekends during the academic year including Saturday events.
Master's preferred; previous experience as a participant or staff member of a TRIO program; previous supervisory experience preferably with residential and/or educational programs; an understanding of the needs of disadvantaged students; direct experience in a college preparatory program or secondary school; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school personnel. Additionally, the College has identified desirable qualifications that support our commitment to creating and maintaining a diverse campus community including the ability to speak a second language or to bring a multicultural perspective to the campus.

Keene State College seeks applications for a Program Coordinator for the Upward Bound Programs. This position works directly with the Associate Director to support a staff team dedicated to student success.
Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math-Science are year-round college preparatory programs. The programs prepare students for success in high school and enrollment in college; are funded by the U.S. Department of Education TRIO Division; are free of charge to students who meet eligibility criteria including being low-income and first generation college; and serve students enrolled in identified target high schools.
