About the Opportunity:
Keene State College invites applicants for an Application Administrator in the Information Technology Group to provide administrative software configuration, feature integration, technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance for the portfolio of software applications used at Keene State College and other USNH institutions. Applications will include a range of systems across a college IT environment including student information systems, housing and dining systems, medical records systems, and ID card and physical security systems as possible examples.
The Information Technology Group provides a wide range of technology services and support for the students, faculty, and staff of Keene State College. The IT Group is responsible for providing the campus with a reliable, flexible and secure technology infrastructure and the delivery of information technology services in support of academic excellence and efficient administrative services. We value customer service, partnerships, continued process improvements, project management methodologies and technical prowess. The Information Technology Group is part of the larger USNH Enterprise Technology & Support (ET&S) Organization which provides a wide range of technology services and support for the students, faculty, and staff of Keene State College and across all USNH institutions.
This position applies knowledge of college business practices and policies and the role of products within the broader Information Technology ecosystem to obtain optimum results; stays current with the latest versions, issues, and user communities surrounding specific products as well as overall trends and advancements in educational technologies and their support; develops and maintains specialized knowledge of the complexities of application administration needs of a subset of the portfolio of applications; collaborates effectively with application user support and training staff to maximize utilization of application features; follows defined IT best practices; and participates in other technical project work as assigned.
