As an Associate, you make this happen using your experience, knowledge and skills to drive forward a programme of activity that addresses historic issues, and identifies and mitigate future problems.
An exciting temporary opportunity for 9 months has arisen in our multi firm team to work on a high-profile project making a difference to thousands of pensioners at risk of making poor decisions about their future income. We are seeking an individual with knowledge or experience of Defined Benefit (DB) pension transfers, and an understanding of the risks and issues to consumers when advisers get it wrong. Preferably you will have worked on Defined Benefit (DB) pension transfer cases as an adviser, paraplanner or file reviewer. You will some understanding of pensions and the advice process, and be familiar with the factors to consider when judging whether advice is suitable
Coordinate and deliver high quality analysis in your supervisory work
Make sound judgements that solve problems identified, through evidence-based analysis from information and data about firms and wider industry issues
Contribute to firm assessments and visits, and ongoing case work with firms to mitigate crystallised risk and future harm
Contribute towards oversight of remediation and redress exercises.
