The Director, PSS Product Management Customer Solutions (Patient & Specialty Services) is responsible for creating and managing the product roadmap and development lifecycle for key tech solutions targeted for patients, practices and other external customers. He/she will also build the capability to get on-going feedback from patients / practices to inform key features, functionality, and overall product roadmap. This candidate will need to approach product management with a spirit of continuous learning and a fail fast mentality. This unique position manages 1-2 direct reports with a product centric focus and achieves results through facilitation and collaboration with key stakeholders from across the PSS franchise teams, PSS centers of excellence, and the enterprise digital innovation team.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : • Create and manage product roadmap and development lifecycle for key tech solutions targeted for patients, practices and other external customers • Build capability to get on-going feedback from patients / practices to inform key features, functionality, and overall product roadmap • Develop and manage business and technical requirements for each key product • Develop usability and user acceptance capability and standards • Use analytics, testing, research and competitive analysis to build product roadmaps and to measure product success • Approach product management with a spirit of continuous learning / test and react / fail fast mentality • Oversee team that develops business and technical requirements for our external customers • Create strong partnership and collaboration with external partners – e.g., SalesForce, AWS, Google, etc. • Support digital product management framework and work-flow processes for the PSS organization • Support design-thinking capability across PSS team and employ approach across product portfolio • Utilize industry-wide best practices to inform user experience, design, and release schedule for key tech solutions • Ensure the use of analytics, testing, research and competitive analysis to build product roadmap • Actively partner with PSS franchise teams/analytics team to determine KPIs, data sources, and measurement tools that will provide insight for clients; drive measurement plans and solutions
What you’ll bring to the role :
• Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Business related discipline), advanced degree preferred
Required Experience : • 10+ years of product management experience in healthcare • 8+ years of progressive business experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with broad understanding of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, reimbursement and patient services • Strong visual design and user experience skills • Knowledge of call center industry practices, reimbursements and payer systems, healthcare protocols and US Healthcare system processes • Takes a problem-solving approach when faced with challenging or difficult situations • Effective leadership skills, including change management on projects/programs • Experienced in establishing and cultivating relationships; able to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and partners across the organization • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and handle multiple projects and tasks • Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions and implement recommendations for resolution • Travel as required
Preferred Experience : • Uses diverse and varied approaches to persuade, negotiate and influence operational decisions • Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and in a team structure; maintain strong cross-functional ties with key business partners • Experience with launching of a new product
