The Project Manager provides a wide range of project management and operational support and assists in the administration and coordination of a variety of project management functions including planning, budgeting, organizing, research and delivery of services. Assignments may be with existing departments or entities within USC Health, organizations that are part of due diligence process with USC Health, or organizations that USC Health is building a relationship with.Â Â Â
Minimum Education:â¢Bachelor's degree in business, management discipline, or equivalent experience.â¢Masterâs degree preferred.Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢A minimum of two (4) years experience of directly related project management or administrative experience. Demonstrated professional experience at a similar level of complexity, including responsibility for multiple or major projects management, knowledge in analyzing information, problem solving and managing a multi-layered initiative Conduct complex analysis of administrative organization, policies, procedures, practices, and cost-benefit studies.â¢Ability to provide administrative reports and analysis in support of the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations as appropriate.â¢Demonstrated experience in organizing and defining tasks, setting priorities, working independently, and following through with minimal direction in order to perform effectively under conditions of frequent interruptions, fluctuating workloads, and conflicting time demands. â¢Demonstrated ability to handle confidential material with discretion.â¢Communicate effectively and diplomatically with a wide variety of constituents to include: physicians, staff and executive stakeholdersâ¢Preferred project management certification and training.â¢Advanced skill in computer programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. required.â¢Demonstrated ability in organizing multiple tasks with conflicting priorities, delivering the desired results on or below budget and successfully meeting deadlines.â¢Working knowledge of preparation of accurate program descriptions budgets and schedules.â¢Working knowledge of PC computer systems and applications using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.â¢Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relations with widely diverse groups such as staff members, faculty, and executive leaders, on a variety of complex issues and administrative tasks.â¢Demonstrated ability to establish constructive working relationships with members of departmental staff by performing duties in a cooperative and helpful manner.â¢Skill in communications to clearly convey complex problems and proposals in both formal and informal settings.Required License/Certification:â¢Fire and Safety Certification.
